Re: uboot installs, but not environment. [Inactive]

The following thread suggests a method for reverting, but I've never done it and I have no idea if it works. Also there is some discussion about future firmware updates from pogo possibly bricking the device down the road.

So it does look possible but I would research the method a lot more before trying it.

Also if you want to get an arch box up it might be worth it to try again. My understanding is that the software can write the uboot around a bad block in the default uboot location, and the default install doesn't use blocks 5 or 7, so we literally have the one case (bad block 6) that the default install is incapable of working around. All that is to say that if you just get another box to try again it's unlikely you'll run into the same issue.
